I am a Ph.D. of Geosciences. My current research is focused on Geographic Information System application and development, especially GIS on/though Internet/Intranet. My other research interests include remote sensing image processing and analysis, urban geography and GIS.
My doctoral dissertation focuses on the research of web GIS. The project, supported by a grant from Poverty-aid Office of State Council, concerns the horizontal flow of project information among organization and the vertical dissemination within an organization. I am the main membership of the research group, charging in the design of the C/S prototype of web GIS, the implementation of GIS graphic visualization, and the implementation of the rule interpreter for calculating math & logic expressions.
My master dissertation focused on remote sensing image processing and interpretation. When studying in Remote Sensing Center of CUMT, some of my work was to process TM image using ARIS III system and recognized the linear structure from the TM image. But my final research paper is to build a 3D Geological Model Based on Boreholes records that were implemented in C language. We integrate 3D mode with the linear structure from TM image to show the whole geological frame of the coal field.
